CCNC 2007 will hold a career forum to exchange information and experience for career development in the telecommunication and related areas. This will provide a unique opportunity for the employers to promote their companies, for the students to gain first hand view of the enterprises and build network, and for the experienced researchers and developers to strengthen existing connections and grasp the new trend of a dynamic job market.

This year, we will feature three exciting sessions for the career forum: a panel where industry leaders will share their successful career stories and give valuable comments on building a shining career path; a forum where representatives from different organizations will discuss the focus and the culture of their companies, distribute hiring information, and show their perspectives on career development; and lunch tables where students will have lunch with the panelists and the company representatives together, and learn particular knowledge from the experts directly.

We will invite industry leaders who have many years of successful experience and keen sense about job market, job requirement, and career development, to present their advice, and address the career issues that graduate students are particularly concerned about.

We will also invite industry practitioners to join this effort to present the interesting work conducted in their organizations, to inform the societies about the job opportunities, and to discuss the key elements desired for a successful career.

For students, this career forum will provide a special opportunity to hear about the effective advice for career development, to learn both successful and unsuccessful stories, and to be better prepared for the competitive market, and to find future colleagues.
